Nancy J. Cieslak has been named chief executive officer of Pittsburgh Pins, Inc., a manufacturer of center pins and other rail-related components.
The promotion converts the ownership of the rail industry supplier, which has operations in Pittsburgh and West Middlesex, Pa., to a woman-owned business.
Before joining Pittsburgh Pins, Cieslak worked as a systems engineer for IBM. She holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. She serves as Northeast Chapter Director of the League of Railway Industry Women.
