A managed affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc. has started operations of the Decatur Central Railroad, LLC (DCC), which runs 16 miles southwest from Cisco to Decatur, Ill.
DCC, formerly the northern portion of the Decatur Junction Railway Company, interchanges with Canadian National Railway (CN) in Decatur. It connects with the Midwest Inland Port via CN, providing access to an intermodal ramp with two 3,800-foot-long intermodal tracks for import and export capability.
