James E. Fisk, a railroad industry veteran of more than three decades, has been hired as vice president and chief mechanical officer at Kansas City Southern.
Since 2005, Fisk has served as vice president of continuous improvement for Electro-Motive Diesel. Before EMD, he served as vice president and CMO for KCS. Earlier in his career he served as president and COO for National Railway Equipment Co. and executive vice president of Wisconsin Central.
Fisk reports to Scott Arvidson, Kansas City Southern Railway's executive vice president and COO.
