R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC has appointed Greg Fox, former executive vice president operations at BNSF Railway, to serve on its Board of Directors. Fox retired from BNSF in August, after 30 years with the company.
“I am excited for this new opportunity,” said Fox. “R. J. Corman is one of the most recognized railroad service providers in the industry and I am confident that there are great accomplishments still to come. They have a talented team of executive officers and I look forward to working alongside them to continue the company’s growth and success.”
Fox joined BNSF’s corporate management trainee program in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1984. In the years following, he received several promotions, serving in various positions with increasing responsibility, including assistant vice president information systems, vice president eBusiness, vice president technology services, chief information officer, vice president engineering and vice president transportation.
As executive vice president operations, a position he held for six years, Fox was responsible for overseeing the organizational operations of 32,500 miles of track.
“We are both proud and fortunate to welcome Mr. Fox to our team,” stated John Morris, R. J. Corman Board member. “His expertise in the rail industry, proven leadership and past experience will positively impact the R. J. Corman family of companies. I look forward to working with Greg to continue upholding our vision of being the best service provider in the industry.”
