Norfolk Southern Corporation (NS) has named Anne Melaragni vice president human resources, effective July 29, 2019.
Melaragni will be responsible for all aspects of human resources for NS. She will be based primarily in Norfolk, Va., and report to Annie Adams, executive vice president and chief transformation officer.
For the past 15 years, Melaragni was employed by a leading global provider of transportation and logistics services, where she served in various roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she served as global head of total rewards and was responsible for planning, designing, and implementing the global compensation and benefit programs. Additionally, she served as vice president of global HR organizational transformation and vice president of HR’s international and emerging markets.
Melaragni earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Miami University.
