Mitsui Rail Capital (MRC) has selected John O'Bryan as president of the company, replacing CEO Seigo Watanabe who had served as interim president since August.
O'Bryan has more than 20 years of rail industry expertise and held a range of posts in transportation, logistics, sales and fleet management. MRC, based in Chicago, is a leading rail car leasing company and a fleet management and maintenance services provider. It has a fleet of nearly 10,000 rail cars.
"We believe John will lead MRC to future successes overcoming the tough economic situation we are currently experiencing," Watanabe noted.
