R. J. Corman Names Quinn President & CEO

R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC has appointed Edward Quinn III president and chief executive officer, effective October 24, 2016. Quinn succeeds Fred Mudge, who has been serving as interim president and chief executive officer and will continue to serve as the R. J. Corman Board of Directors chairman.

Quinn previously served as general manager of R. J. Corman’s Material Sales Company and vice president of its Derailment Services Company.

He rejoins the company with 22 years of experience in transportation and manufacturing, where he has held various leadership roles. He has experience in engineering, marketing and sales, and the management of geographically dispersed operations teams.

R. J. Corman companies provide services to the railroad industry, including short line railroad operations, industrial railcar switching, emergency response, track material distribution, track construction, signal design and construction, and railroad worker training. The company also builds eco-friendly locomotives.
