R. J. Corman Names Sipes Interim President of Signaling

R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC has named Ray Sipes interim president of R. J. Corman Signaling, LLC, effective immediately. The company’s previous president, Mike Wilson, has resigned. Sipes will oversee the company’s daily operations until a permanent replacement can be found.

Sipes currently serves as the vice president of R. J. Corman’s Roadway Worker Training Signal Services, where he is responsible for directing and overseeing the signal support team who have experience working with Class I railroads. The team offers services such as signal maintenance support, in-service testing, consulting and project management assistance to a variety of industry customers.

"I am confident in my ability to lead the Signaling Company through this transition period," Sipes said. "My primary goal will be continuing to provide the top-of-the-line, reliable signaling services that our customers have come to expect from R. J. Corman."

R. J. Corman thanked Mike Wilson for his role in establishing and growing the Signaling Company and wished him well in future endeavors.

Ed Quinn, R. J. Corman Railroad Group’s president and CEO, will work with R. J. Corman’s Board of Directors to seek out the most qualified candidate to permanently fill the position of R. J. Corman Signaling President. They hope to complete the search early in the first quarter of 2017.
