Dr. John Tunna has been chosen to lead and manage the newly created Passenger Rail Business Unit of Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI). TTCI, which is based in Pueblo, Colo., and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads, is a prominent transportation research and testing organization, providing emerging technology solutions for the railway industry worldwide.
Tunna has more than 30 years of experience in railroad track and vehicle analysis, including vehicle dynamics, structural design, track geometry, and track maintenance. He managed TTCI's transit system improvement projects for the past several years in South America, the United Kingdom and Australia.
